001: Snack Sunday, or Cheese, Cheese & More Cheese

Every Sunday, we’ll be previewing the In-Flight Snack that we’ll be enjoying on our upcoming episode, released on Weed Wednesday at 4:20 pm.

For Episode 001, we had a very special guest (you’ll have to tune in to find out who!) who is vegetarian and gluten free. It also happened to be the holidays, so we had lots of fancy snacks leftover from various soirees, so we decided to put together one of our favorite snacks: an easy snack plate! We were so full by the end of recording, and we shared it between three people.

In those adorable mugs, we have some boozy hot cocoa (we both had a day!); Swiss Miss hot cocoa with Maine’s most popular booze, Allen’s Coffee Brandy, added. Going from 12 o’clock on that plate, we have Trader Joe’s Amarena Cherries, Trader Joe’s Fruit Jellies, Nabisco’s Good Thins Rice in Salt & Pepper, some gigantic green grapes, Trader Joe’s Toscano Cheese with Black Pepper, some sharp white cheddar, and some homemade crostini. That bowl in the middle? Pure magic. It’s a soft goat/sheep’s milk cheese brined in olive oil, thyme, and black pepper. Riley paid too much for it at Whole Foods, but you can find it cheaper at local stores or Market Basket. Finally, we rounded it all out with a Lindt White Chocolate Lindor bar.
